The Theory Test is the first of two tests (theory and practical) that you need to pass before you can drive.
It is a computer based screen test which consists of 35 multiple choice questions and a hazard perception skills test. To pass you must answer 30 or more of the questions correctly in 40 minutes and score at least 44 out of 75 for the hazard perception part. Once you finish the test you get the results straight away while you wait in the waiting room. There is an on-line practice theory test available at DSA Website You will be given your results when you have finished both parts of the test and returned to the waiting room. Once the theory test has been passed you can then book your Practical Driving Test. |
