Once passed and assuming you have a photo-card driving license, the examiner will ask if you want a full driving license issued to you automatically. If so, the examiner will, scan the details of the license and send them electronically to the DVLA. You will then be given a pass certificate and the DVLA will then send your new full license by post within three weeks.
If the automatic service is not required, the old license can be sent off with the pass certificate to the DVLA - Full details are on the back of the pass certificate |
