All learner drivers must be accompanied by an experienced driver who is -

• at least 21 years of age
• has a held a full driving license for at least three years.

and the car you use must

• be insured for the learner driver
• have 'L' plates fitted to both the front and rear of the car
• be in a safe and roadworthy condition.
